The students in the Southern Connecticut State University’s Accelerated Nursing Program will be visiting the Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive, Thursday, June 18 from 9:30 a.m. to noon to conduct health screenings. Health stations will include blood pressure screening, summer safety, diabetes management, nutrition, chair exercises and fall prevention.
The nursing students will be on hand to offer tips for being safe, active and healthy at this interactive presentation.
The health stations will be available in the Parquet Room at the center.
