Class starts at 8 a.m. Instruction will cover all the basic topics involved in the safe operation of recreational boating and seamanship. It will also cover safe personal watercraft operation. Successful completion of this eight hour ABS course satisfies the Connecticut licensing requirements for both boats and Personal Watercraft (PWC). Family participation is encouraged. Cost: $60.

Fowler picnic — The Connecticut Team- Mullet’s Marauders is hosting a picnic at the Fowler Building, 45 New Haven Avenue, Sunday June 28, 1 to 6 p.m.
In addition to a picnic menu, an auction and a party is planned and music will be provided. Admission is $10.

Foran ‘95 reunion — The Joseph A. Foran High School Class of 1995 will be celebrating its 20th reunion July 31 through Aug. 2. Events will take place across the weekend, ranging from a casual get together to kick off the festivities on July 31 at Crush Sports Bar, a school tour, and the main event on Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Milford Fine Arts Council and concluding with a family day at the beach on Sunday.
The event is chaired by Lacy Daigle, class of 1995’s president, and supported by a group of volunteers from the class.
