Uganda Farmers Inc. is a nonprofit organization that brings clean, running water to remote villages in Africa.
The main fundraiser is the Running Water for Africa 5K Race/Walk being held on Saturday, Oct. 3, starting at 9 a.m. at a new location this year, Walnut Beach. Specially designed t-shirts will be provided to all pre-registered and the first 60 registrants on race day.
The proceeds of this year’s event will benefit the village of Nganiko. Register at hitekracing.com.
