Milford Police Reports: September 17

Assault

Milford police arrested George McGarry, 42, of Milford on Sept. 7 after officers responded to a Woodmont Road motel on the complaint of a fight.

Investigation led to the arrest of McGarry, who is accused of engaging in a physical altercation with a female inside a motel room.

McGarry is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

He was held on a $1,000 bond at the time of his arrest.

 

DUI

Milford police arrested Linda Pastor, 54, of Milford on Sept. 7 for DUI after officers responded to the report of an accident at the intersection of Boston Post Road and North Street.

Investigation led to the arrest of Pastor, who is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol. Police say Pastor refused to provide a breath sample.

After being placed under arrest, Pastor was found in possession of a small bag containing marijuana.

Pastor is charged with driving under the influence, failure to yield and possession of less than one half ounce of marijuana.

She was held on a $500 bond at the time of her arrest.

 

Larceny

Milford police arrested Joshua Morales, 25, of New Haven on a warrant for his arrest Sept. 8.

Police accuse Morales of taking a cell phone from the AT&T store on March 20 without paying for it.

Morales is charged with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.

He was held on a $500 bond at the time of his arrest.

 

Assault

Milford police arrested Jerrod Preston, 37, of Milford on Sept. 9 after officers responded to a Boston Post Road hotel on the complaint of domestic violence.

Investigation led to the arrest of Preston, who is accused of engaging in a physical altercation with a female in the parking lot of the hotel.

Preston is charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Bond was set at $2,000 for court on Sept. 10.

 

Larceny

Milford police arrested MaryAnne Radzion, 61, of West Haven on Sept. 10 after officers responded to Whole Foods on the complaint of shoplifting. Police accuse Radzion of placing false price tags on items prior to purchasing them.

According to police, Radzion purchased $86.28 worth of food for $20.71. Officers stopped Radzion’s vehicle shortly after she fled the scene and placed her into custody.

Further investigation revealed Radzion to be in possession of over 20 Xanax pills for which she did not have a prescription.

Radzion is charged with sixth-degree larceny, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and illegal possession of prescription.

She was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 6.

Failure to appear

Milford police arrested Keith Joyner, 43, of New Haven on Sept. 12 after officers took custody of Joyner in regard to an active warrant for his arrest.

Joyner is accused of failing to appear in court on March 13 from motor vehicle charges from October  2014.

Joyner is charged with failure to appear. Bond was set at $10,000 for court on Oct. 6.
