There will be two sessions of Her-Self Defense, offered by the Maren Sanchez Home Foundation and funded by the United Way of Milford, Saturday, March 23 at Simon Lake Training Facility, 59 Devonshire Road, Milford, for Milford girls ages 10 to 18.
The first session is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the second is 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The event is free and teaches girls life-savings techniques and how to get away from an attacker.
