A 71-year-old Shelton man was charged with voyeurism when he was arrested on a warrant Aug. 19 for allegedly video recording a student in a locker room at the YMCA using his cell phone.
Police said Joseph Marino, 71, of Peters Lane, Shelton, was charged with voyeurism and risk of injury to a minor.
A police report states that Marino used his cell phone to record images of a student inside a locker loom at the YMCA on May 7.
He was released from police custody on his promise to appear in court Sept. 15.
Milford police took custody of Isis Johnson, 24, of Stamford on Aug. 19 regarding two active warrants for his arrest.
Police accuse Johnson of failing to appear in court on June 8 on a charge of larceny he committed in Norwalk.
Johnson is charged with failure to appear in court and violation of probation.
Johnson was held on a $51,000 bond.
Milford police arrested Normal Knakal, 51, of Milford for DUI on Aug. 20 after officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Bridgeport Avenue and Schoolhouse Road.
Investigation led to the arrest of Knakal who is accused of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
A breath test showed Knakal to have an elevated blood alcohol content.
Knakal is charged with DUI and failure to drive at a reasonable distance.
Bond was set at $500 for court on Sept. 17.
Milford police arrested James Boyd, 47, of West Haven for DUI on Aug. 20 after officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Boston Post Road and Cherry Street.
Investigation led to the arrest of Boyd who is accused of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
A breath test showed Boyd to have an elevated blood alcohol content.
Boyd is charged with DUI, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to drive right.
Bond was set at $500 for court on Sept. 17.
Milford police took custody of Devyne Drayton, 26, of New Haven on Aug. 19 in regard to two active warrants for his arrest.
Police accuse Drayton of committing two residential burglaries on June 30 on Brooklawn Drive. One of the burglaries included the theft of a motor vehicle, which was recovered later that day.
Drayton is charged with first-degree larceny, third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary and other related conspiracy charges.
Bond was set at $10,000 for court on Aug. 19.
Milford police took custody of Richard Zwart on Aug. 23 in regard to an active warrant for his arrest.
Police accuse Zwart of hitting an acquaintance in the face with a dinner plate at an Overlook Drive address in 2013.
Zwart is charged with third-degree assault.
Bond was set at $250 for court on Sept. 15.
